What is Go4schools?

Go4schools is an online school data system which gives parents and students access to:

• Real-time attainment information – marks and target grades for all

subjects throughout the year.

• Timetable – Your child’s daily and weekly timetable
• Attendance – Shown from the start of the academic year
• Progress Reports – Full written reports which are published 3 times a

year From November 2014 this will replace the data sheets parents have received in the past

How does Go4schools work?

• 1. All up to date assessment data is entered into

Go4schools by staff

• 2. Parents and students log into Go4schools using their

home email address (once it has been given to the school)

• 3. Detailed, up to date assessment and attendance

information is displayed

Accessing achievement data

• Data will only be available on online.
• This gives a much greater level of data than just

termly reports.

• Termly reports are available by post if requested

Current grades

• The grade a student should expect to achieve if they

took the exam tomorrow

• Based on all elements of the qualification including:
• mock exams
• coursework
• units not yet completed
• This will make grades seem much lower than

previously but will make clear what students need to do to improve

• Will be used in all reports from December 2014

what we expect them to achieve at the end of the key stage
