  4. Summer Program Highlights and Fall Products Summer camp 2019 hosted 1,562 Girl Scouts! STEM Day Camp at CDT hosted 83 campers. Wildwood hosted Family Camping on the 4 th of July. As of the end of September, over 2,300 girls have created their Florida Polytechnic hosted 30 Girl avatars and launched their online Scouts and their coaches at Camp CEO stores. – STEM in July. • Kicked off Sept. 6 • Girl delivered/paper order Camp CEO – Civics will be Nov. 1-3 at cards ceased Oct. 13 CDT. Deadline to apply was Oct. 15. • Online orders accepted until Nov. 4 Camp CEO – Professional will be Apr. 3- • Reward choices due online 5 at Camp Wildwood. Deadline to apply Nov. 11 is Jan. 31. Awesome Volunteer Happenings! G.I.R.L. Kickoff – Aug. 10 New Leader University • Largest and most successful with Trainings combine and almost 300 volunteers allow a blended learning • 22 Service Units received the CEO style of pre-work, Award of Excellence activities, and Q&A: • In-person New Leader Beginning in November, trainings complimentary Adult • T raveling Troops Learning Patches! • CPR/First Aid • Request patches for Adult Trainings you have already taken • all new participants will be given patches at the training 3

  5. Projected Membership 2020 Reduction in APD (Staff led) Girls to align with allocated funding (decreases in Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Polk.) Growth in traditional, volunteer-led girls and adults. Setting goals for a flat membership year, with the increases in traditional troop girls to offset the loss in APD girls. 2019-2020 Operating Budget • Current membership year expected to finish ahead of budget • Positive annual cash flow being reinvested in properties 8 4

  6. 2019-2020 Operating Budget • 2019-2020 budgeted to have operating income of $304,000 • Positive operating budget due to cookie price Retention increase • ½ being invested in operational improvements Support • ½ being set aside to sustain future operations • Membership $256,000 budgeted for capital improvements at Growth properties • Includes $181,000 renovation of Wildwood pool, decking, pool house 9 CDT Ranger House and Wildwood’s Lake Lenore Restoration continues at Lake Lenore at Camp Wildwood – estimated completion summer 2020. CDT Ranger house, donated by Cardell Homes, had the Grand Opening on Oct. 5. Ranger Steve will be moving to CDT from Wildwood as the full-time ranger. 5

Kilo Hoko “Star Gazer” Progress – Wai Lani Construction underway! Completion expected by January 2020 Numerous setbacks in the permitting process have delayed completion. 6

Properties Investments Total sustainability investment of $171,000 Tree Removal of those that pose dangers to members and structures: in properties this year, focused on • CDT – $24,000 (21 trees)  Member safety • WW - $10,000  Asset protection • IE - $3,000 • WL – 4 additional trees Investments include: removed • Environmental stewardship work • Removal / rebuilding ramps / Land Management and stairs of CDT cabins Environmental Education • • Pest treatment / preventative Controlled burn at Wildwood Summer Camp maintenance plans • Controlled burn at Wai Lani last • Replacement of damaged Indian fall Echo tents • Invasive species management • Pool pumps, drain fields, A/C • Partnered with Florida Forestry work, roof work, etc. for trail maintenance and other services Go Gold and Global Girl Scouting GoGold 2.0 launched Oct. 14 and is accessible on both iOS and Android!   9. GS Fest and RK Mellon Outdoor Program GS Fest on Sept. 21 welcomed over 1,900 participants. Highlights included: • Tasting the new cookie and earning a patch at the Product Program Rally! • G.I.R.L. Cave for only CSA girls • Outdoor education and games including visits from Wildwood stables • Moo-ga (aka yoga) from presenting sponsor Florida Dairy Farmers Outdoor Program projects: • New partnerships with state parks • Events alongside National Public Lands Day • Revitalization of the homestead garden at Camp Wildwood • Revitalization of the butterfly garden to teach about native species and pollinators Orlando 2020 – What to expect www.girlscouts.org/girl2020 Registration opens January 2020. Weekend registration rate is $295/girl and $345/adult and includes: • Access to National Council Session – Oct. 21-23 • Opening and closing ceremonies – Oct. 23 and Oct. 25 • Breakout and keynote sessions – Oct. 23-25 • Saturday evening celebration party – Oct. 24 • Admission to the G.I.R.L. Expo – Oct. 23-25 Early bird discounts, day passes, and single admission tickets for G.I.R.L. Expo will be available. 8

  10. National Council Session Delegates NCS Delegates are selected by an application process and voted in at the Annual Meeting. The Board Development Committee will review the applications and conduct interviews if needed. Qualifications for an NCS Delegate are: • Attend the National Council Session for the currently scheduled for October 21-23, 2020 • Serve a full triennium (3 years) and become a member of the GSWCF Representative Assembly • Commitment to learn parliamentary procedure, attend Applications for girls (ages 14 trainings, briefings, and forums and older) and adults are • Willingness to communicate with staff, service units, being accepted online until members and volunteers 12/31/19.
