Outcomes of the evaluation process shall include: • Faculty and student conversations • Creating clear policies for General Education certification • Establishing routine assessment • Eliminate navigational issues in General Education • Compliance with accreditation

Overview: Observations • Specific Gen Ed courses required by majors lead to setbacks • Co- and pre-requisites still exist • Interpretation and assessment of learning outcomes is difficult • Dual category certification is difficult • “Syllabus drift” • Transferring is easier • As the advisors say, “General Education” is not “general”
