Project Objectives

• Strengthening capacities of countries to

participate in Codex standards setting as well as to adopt and implement international food safety standards.

• Protecting consumers and promoting the

production and trade of safe and quality foods.

• ASEAN country governments - strengthening participation

in Codex, and understanding and implementing international standards

• Trade is increased and flow of agricultural commodity

across the border is smoothened
