Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital HTC Update By: Bill Berger • We’re open and accessible* to all patients with a safe clinic environment • Many staff are working remotely and only present on campus for clinics • Clinic appointments are being deferred except for urgent needs. Don’t hesitate to call with questions. • For in-person visits, patients will be screen by phone for COVID- 19 prior to appointment and at POC. Please follow physical distancing and wear a face mask at visit.

Update, continued • T elemedicine Visits are being encouraged (see NHF Webinar, 4/10 for details and how to prepare) • MDs and RNs are on-site for both hospital and outpatient • Elective Surgery/Procedures are being deferred • Sign up for patient portal to facilitate communication with your healthcare providers at Wash U/SLCH • COVID-19 infection, hospitalizations, treatment rates are currently at “best case scenario” !

  15. Update, continued • There are no Industry supply/distribution Issues • We’re following recent MASAC #242 Recommendation and Revision regarding home delivery and refills during emergencies (see NHF Website for details) • Call early to request factor refills or discuss your situation, if necessary • BJH and Wash U Clinics currently have adequate PPE and supplies (masks, protective gear, ventilators, etc.)
