  • SRC quarterly reporting
  • HIOPP performance measures (PMs) and targets review
  • New member approval

  • First full quarter all SRCs reporting on all PMs for this

biennium.

  • Almost all PMs are on track (or close) for all 3 SRCs.
  • Working with Oregon BEST on two PMs that are behind

schedule to understand situation and how to address.

  • Will be able to notice trends starting next meeting so will

bring any issues forward if we see any.

projects funded in round one.

  • UO mass timber acoustics testing lab
  • OSU additive manufacturing/process intensification project
  • Should review quarterly as with the SRCs once projects are

up and running (hopefully, later this month).

  • Should do the same with any funded in round two

(proposals due in July).

  • Signature Research Centers ($7.5M):

Operating support focused on developing a pipeline of emerging new technology companies and supporting entrepreneurs

  • High Impact Opportunities Projects ($4.7M):

Investments in distinct innovation or R&D projects to advance the growth of emerging industries

  • Commercialization Fund ($5M):

Funding for early-stage companies emerging from science and research

  • Small Business Innovation Research Support Program ($1M):

Grant assistance to support companies pursuing federal R&D grants and leverage federal research awards to help companies commercialize technology
