Art Clubs

“Drawing on Memory” (And writing, too!)

✘ Students will learn basic drawing techniques to draw important artifacts from their lives! (These can include toys, mementos, photos, etc.). ✘ They will also write expressively about their drawings! (Students may choose to share their drawings & writing with the other students & the art teacher - or not!) ✘ Eventually student will compile their work into an autobiographical book! ✘ “Art History Club” (all grades): We’ll be linking to difgerent art museums’ websites for virtual tours!

Forestdale Singers- Grades 3-6

✘ Students will learn basic singing technique and work on songs individually or in small groups.

Recorder Club- Grades 4-6

✘ Students will have more time to work on recorder technique individually or in small groups. ✘ Students will work on difgerent and more diffjcult music.

Little Falcon Singers- Grades K-2

✘ Students will learn basic singing technique and work on songs individually or in small groups.

Safety Patrols

Students in 5th and 6th grade can join/rejoin Forestdale’s Patrol Team!

★ School Safety Patrol Members: ○ Complete training in traffjc safety. ○ Help protect fellow students. ○ Assist teachers in promoting safety and school-wellness. ○ Teach fellow students about traffjc safety and more. ○ Serve other leadership functions under the direction of school offjcials. ★ “School safety patrol members have grown up to be U.S. presidents, governors, members of Congress, Supreme Court justices, astronauts, and Olympic medalists, as well as educators, executives, and community leaders throughout the country” -AAA ★ More Patrol Team information will come shortly.
