Vision for the Rotary-WCP project

To make the WCP-program to a worldwide Rotary engagement, which globally is supported by Rotary International and locally by the Rotary Clubs all over the world, i.e. in the same way as Rotary during many years successfully has supported and been engaged in the End-Polio-Now or Polio Plus project.

Mission for the Rotary-WCP project

To increase the number of Global Friend schools, i.e. schools which actively are working with and educating in the WCP program – the greatest yearly education program for the rights of the child, human rights, all people’s equal value and democracy.

The Rotary-WCP project was started by Mariefred RK in year 2016 and belongs since the beginning of year 2017 to the youth committee of the Rotary District 2370, where Gunilla Marklund is the chair. WCP has the head office in Mariefred, where the operation was started in year 2000 by the Chief Executive Magnus Bergmar – www.worldschildrensprize.org.
