Recommendation: The Irish Agri-food industry should enhance its strong credentials in food safety through a public-private collaboration aimed at anticipating and mitigating new and emerging risks to the food chain.

gathering capacity to improve monitoring and predictive capacity which will result in more timely responses to food safety threats which may arise and ongoing communication.
