THE BILLING STATEMENT

When will it be available?

 Only *** 1 *** Paper bill will be sent. All others via email.

When is it due?

 Fall 2017 – August 1st  Spring 2018 – January 2nd

PAYMENT PLANS

2-Pay

 $25 application fee  Payments are due the 1st of the following months:

 Fall – August, October  Spring – January, March

4-Pay

 $30 application fee  Payments are due the 1st of the following months:

 Fall – August, September, October, November  Spring – January, February, March, April

 Savings plan designed to encourage saving for future college costs.

Outside scholarships

 Private scholarships will be listed as a credit on the bill only after the scholarship money has been received by the college. You may use the scholarship as a deduction by providing a letter from the awarding agency stating the amount of the scholarship.

 This notifies your parents or other family members when a new bill is due and how to pay it.  To add an authorized payer:

 Sign into MyGeneseo  Select Student Accounts Center under “Sites”  Click on the Authorized Payer option on the left

RELEASE OF INFORMATION

Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA)

 FERPA is a federal law which is designed to protect the privacy of and limit access to the educational records of students.  Students need to fill out the Voluntary Student Consent to Release Financial Information Form, located at the Student Account Office in Erwin 106.
