We found a gem located right in the epicenter of downtown Millville. Old Oar House Irish Pub features homemade genuine home-style fare with the perfect classic pub setting. Whether you are meeting friends for drinks in their all-season outdoor Beer Garden or gathering with friends and family for a terrific meal, the Old Oar House is the place to come. My parents have been coming here for years to get a great burger and draft beer for an unbeatable price. My husband and I recently brought our two kids to the dining room and we had a memorable experience. Todd, the owner, indicated that "if we cannot make it from scratch, then it's not on the menu." And boy were we in for a treat. We started out with the Cream of Crab Soup, which was very flavorful without being too heavy. We also had the Guinness Irish Stew which was the best I've ever had. We then moved on to the steak and chicken

• Quesadillas. The meat was very tender and they were

full of authentic flavor. For our main courses, we had the Shepherd's Pie, Fish and Chips and Classic Grilled

• Reuben. My husband loves Shepherd's Pie and he

said this was the best he's had. The Fish and Chips were of course made with beer batter and large potato

• wedges. The fish was moist and tender and was a hit

with the kids too. Then came the Reuben. Since their corned beef brisket is made there, in their own brine, you can just imagine how good this was (not to mention how good any of their corned beef dishes are). Overall,

We have been going to see the Clark's Bear Show since I was a little girl. But this year was extra special as it was the first time my husband and myself took our two-year-old daughter to witness the captivating marvel of the show (we didn't even have to bring our own stroller, as one was offered to us for free to use throughout the day). Having not been to the show in two and a half years, I noticed that W. Murray Clark was not wearing a hat, either this time or the last, yet prior to that I recall him coming out with the hat on all the time. Instead, his son donned the hat while W. Murray attended the show in his traditional blue uniform, enjoying every moment

• smiling. My daughter along with all the other families were enjoying the
