COURSE REQUEST TIMELINE NOVEMBER/ DECEMBER: ⦿ Teachers begin making course recommendations for students ● Test scores, work ethic, skills, and career interest ○ Students meet individually with counselors to complete course selection form ● FEBRUARY: ⦿ A printout is given to students to confirm the requested courses; parents are asked to ● sign and return. MARCH/ APRIL: ⦿ The schedule is built around what students & parents requested. ● MAY: ⦿ ● A tentative schedule is given to students before summer break* *Courses, periods, and teachers are subject to change over the summer. Students will receive their official schedule the first day of school.
