Why does Amazon need to open in Poland?

» Amazon’s European business has exhibited strong

growth in recent years as customers continued responding to the low prices and wide selection offered by Amazon . In order to meet this demand Amazon has decided to open fulfillment centers in Poland and at

Poland Expansion

• Amazon plans to open 3 fulfillment centers in Poland by

2015

• This will create up to 6,000 long term jobs and an

additional 9,000 seasonal jobs within 3 years after launch

• To meet growing demand Amazon plans to open two

new fulfillment centers in Poland by August 2014(close to Wroclaw and Poznań) and another one mid - 2015
