The Working Group is working to support the government’s vision for special needs education through inclusive education and specialist provision through activities in:
- IE and SNE training for educationalists in mainstream and
specialist settings
- Technical support in mainstream and specialist settings
- Advocacy for access to quality education

– Kamonyi visit planned – ‘inclusive’ District from ECD to 9YBE; wide participation including MP for disability, MINEDUC, RENCP members and development partners – MINEDUC hosted Burundi delegation on 5 day tour (KIE, special schools and inclusive schools)
