Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) September 2018 www.constantenergy .net Overview of ESG ESG is a generic term used in capital markets to evaluate corporate behaviour and to determine the future financial performance of companies.
ESG is a generic term used in capital markets to evaluate corporate behaviour and to determine the future financial performance
- f companies. Our ESG activities are driven by shared moral principles to do the right thing while inspiring our stakeholders to
conduct business in a similar fashion (as opposed to adopting sustainable practices due to peer-pressure). Nakhon Ratchasima (7400 kWp) = eliminates approx. 7800 tons CO2 emissions/year Chiang Rai Solar (9500 kWp) = eliminates approx. 10 717 tons CO2 emissions/year. An increase in Constant Energy’s business activities as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) of renewable solar energy can contribute to a more environmentally sustainable future by decreasing customer reliance on fossil fuels for their energy needs, thus decreasing the amount of carbon emissions produced per year. Our many years of experience as asset managers of geographically diversified asset portfolio also empowers us to identify potential risks at an early stage as well as handle developments in the energy markets where we evolve. This allows us to harmonise business activities along with the growing needs and concerns of surrounding communities, and as a result, we maintain our licence to operate and contribute to the long-term sustainability of our business.

On 16th of March 2018, Constant Energy and its affiliate Solar Rooftop CE1 Co., Ltd. donated to the Wat Khlong Gao School (Temple school) located in Samut Prakan, Thailand. As part of the ceremony, Constant Energy met the director of the school and the local representative of IEAT (Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand) for the Bangpoo industrial estate which was supportive of the project obtaining the industrial rooftop license which is required to build and operate corporate rooftops in the area. Wat Khlong Gao School comprises 600 students from kindergarten to sixth grade. Most parents relocated to the Bangpoo area to obtain work in one of the industrial factories in Bangpoo. Wat Khlong Gao School enables them to have a place to work, earn money for their families and at the same time ensure education for their children.

The dirt access road connecting the Nakhon Ratchasima Solar Farm to the main road is difficult to access (especially during rainy season as shown below). As it is a public road, both Constant Energy stakeholders and neighboring farmers risk damage to their property or themselves, thus motivating the initiative to pave the entire section in 2018. The opening ceremony was held on 22nd August 2018
