Program for Adult Learners with Special Needs
Endeavour is a social integration-based special education program for adult learners with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder run through Place Cartier Adult Education Centre.
Teaching staff support students in order to cultivate and nurture skills in the following areas:
“Endeavour at Allancroft is a social integration training program. We take part in personal projects, work projects and community projects. As educators working in the field of social integration, our job is to find opportunities for
to them personally or socially. We find personal projects for each student, the completion of which leaves them grinning with pride at what they have been able to achieve.”

“Room 8 offers a variety of activities and programs geared towards varying degrees of interests and academic levels. We have scheduled work that we do for Canada Post, where students are asked to sort elastics and Canada Post tags. The students actively participate in the set-up of the Allancroft Café by baking cookies each week.”
