Course Accreditation
Tiis course has been approved for 9.5 hours of law and legal credit, 1.0 hour of ethics, and 2.0 hours of other nexus CLE credit by the Washington MCLE board; is approved by the Oregon State Bar for 12.25 general CLE credits; and pending with the Idaho State Bar for 12.0 CLE credits, including 1.0 ethics credit. Tie Seminar Group is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider; therefore, this course is approved for 11.5 general and 1.0 ethics CLE credits; Tiis course has been approved by the Montana State Bar for a total

Lynch, Program Co-Chair, is a Partner at K&L Gates LLP, where his practice focuses on regulatory compliance and environmental law with an emphasis on the federal and state environmental laws and policies. Patricia H. O'Brien, Program Co-Chair, is Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Washington Attorney General's Office (AGO). In her current assignment as AGO Natural Resources Division Chief, she manages a division with 20 employees. Barry Thom, Special Presenter, is the Regional Administrator for NOAA Fisheries West Coast Region. He has worked extensively
- n salmon recovery in the Columbia River basin and West Coast,
including convening the Columbia Basin Partnership. Trish Adams serves as the National Habitat Conservation Planning (HCP) Coordinator for the USFWS in Virginia. Previously, she was located in the South Florida Ecological Services Office for 14 years. Theodore J. Angelis, a partner at K&L Gates LLP, is an intellectual property and appellate litigator. and ongoing operation of energy and natural resource projects. Christopher J. Carr is a partner at Morrison & Foerster
- LLP. He serves as chair of the Environment and Energy Group,
and as co-chair of the firm's UAS/Drone Group and the Clean Technology Group. Bart J. Freedman is a Partner at K&L Gates LLP. His practice encompasses Native American Law, as well as a broad range of environmental and business litigation in federal and state courts. Patti Goldman is the Managing Attorney of Earthjustice's Northwest Office. She has extensive experience in the Endangered Species Act and has litigated cases to protect orcas, salmon, and Northwest forests. Stephen D. Mashuda is the managing attorney of Earthjustice's Oceans program in their Northwest office. He focuses entirely on Columbia-Snake River salmon litigation for the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition. Christopher S. McNulty is the Section Chief for the Northwest Section, NOAA Fisheries Office of General Counsel. He is responsible for providing legal advice to the National Marine Fisheries Service. Marshall Meyers is a Partner at Meyers & Alterman. His practice focuses on legislative and regulatory matters affecting acquisition, transportation, sale, possession and care of companion animals and wildlife. Siri C. Nelson has served as District Counsel for Seattle District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, since October 2003. Her office provides legal support to Seattle District's civil works and military missions. Steven P. Quarles, a partner in Nossaman LLP's, Washington, DC office, focuses his practice on issues concerning federal wildlife laws, federal lands and resources, and water pollution. Jason C. Galen G. Schuler is the VP, General Counsel and Corporate Affairs for Green Diamond Resource Company, a forest products company that owns and manages over 1.3 million acres of working forest lands. William R. Sherman is an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Crimes Unit of the Criminal Division of the Washington State Attorney General's Office, based in Seattle. Alan C. Stay currently serves as a member of the Office of the Tribal Attorney of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. He works primarily on hunting and fishing, natural resources, housing and education matters. Ryan P. Steen is a Partner in the Environment, Land Use and Natural Resources practice group of Stoel Rives LLP. He focuses his practice on environmental, natural resources, fisheries, and wildlife law. Steve P. Thompson is the former Regional Director for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Region 8. He worked for nine years with the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife. Bridget Fahey is the Division Chief for Conservation and Classification with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in the Mountain-Prairie regional

Elena J. Onaga is the Deputy Section Chief of NOAA's Office of General Counsel, Pacific Island Section. Previously, she served as a civilian attorney specializing in environmental law for the Army.
