Why • Reduces Disciplinary Problems/ Improves Teaching Time - Strong Educator Support • Significant Parental Involvement • Character Traits - Respect,Friendliness,Tolerance, Responsibility,Discipline,Confidence,Service, Honesty,Compassion, Perseverance • Four Way Test - Rotarian involvement/ Service opportunity
Where • Currently in three schools in Georgetown- supported by other two Georgetown Rotary Clubs • Propose to expand program to Jarrell and increase support for Georgetown by joining with other local clubs
When • Schedule depends on Fundraising and club support • Objectives; Start Jarrell this fall, make contribution to Georgetown this fall • If insufficient funds and/or support, accrue funds with objective of initiating programs the following year.
How and How much • Primary source of funds will be Rotary Fest • Continue to support local programs i.e. Locker, Nest, Assistance League, etc from Rotary Fest • New EAFK program in Jarrell will cost $7.5-8.0K, second year will cost $6.5-7.0K • Jarrell School system will contribute approx. $3.0K/yr • Balance of proceeds to support EAFK in Georgetown
