Alan Laws Travel Fellowship Dr. Alexander White (Fellow) This award provides travel support for senior residents and fellows in Dr. BijanTeja (Fellow) furthering academic interests and research projects in anesthesia. It is one of two awards given by the Department of Anesthesia in honour and memory of Dr. Alan K. Laws. Tuition Awards 2019 This award provides funding for tuition support for residents or fellows in the Dr. John Peel (PGY 2) Department of Anesthesia. Both residents and fellows are enrolled in a Dr. Aoife Quinn (Fellow) graduate level course or program that will be completed during their training Trainee at the University of Toronto. The recipient have demonstrated the relationship of the graduate studies to their chosen career path, and how it has integrated into their existing residency/fellowship program. Awards The Thomas Donald Hammell Memorial Award in Anesthesia This award was donated to the Department of Anesthesia by Dr. Darlene Dr. Tyler Brown (PGY5) Hammell, as a memorial to her husband. The Thomas Donald Hammell Memorial Award in Anesthesia recognizes outstanding contributions to the Residency Program (as chosen by other residents).
