  3. Overall Weighted Caseload • The national weighted caseload average is 533 cases per DJ • Unlike some other Districts, the District of Delaware does not have any senior judges and/or temporary judgeships (judges not counted in the figures above) to assist with the caseload

Patent Caseload • Each of 4 DJs in the District of Delaware has pending (as of 12/31/14) an average of 321 patent cases • #1 in the nation (and has been every year but one for a decade) • #2 is E.D. Tex. (average of 161 patent cases per DJ) • #3 is N.D. Cal. (average of 23 patent cases per DJ) • Average DJ nationwide: 8 patent cases on docket
