CITY OF LITTLE ROCK Department of Community Programs Status Update  Issued Citywide Enhancement RFQ  11 recommended to Board of Directors and approved.  Contract negotiations currently in process.  These programs will work with all city funded afterschool programs and will be open to other City youth.  Issued RFQs for core programming (deadline for submission December 14, 2012)  Neighborhood- Based afterschool/out-of-school time programs  YIP (Youth Intervention Program)  Technical Assistance  Management Information System (contract negotiations in progress).  Hired Re-entry Coordinator  Completed work plan  RFQs and implementation within the first quarter of 2013. 2

CITY OF LITTLE ROCK  Family and Community Forum (November 1, 2012)  Solicited community input and recommendations  100 attended  Engaged in a cross-systems dialogue and planning.  LRPD partnerships for PAL (Police Athletic League); OK Program; and COPP/SRO. Status: reached agreement for programming to begin in January 2013.  Agreement on expansion on LR Boys and Girls Clubs to serve more young people unable to pay for services.  Parent Involvement advocacy training. Contract negotiations in progress. 3
