Presentation of special nets for monkeys
Dear Sir or Madam, In the following I want to present my new nets for apes or similar species. Those nets have been in use since 2009 and were designed and tested with the cooperation
- f the Pongoland (Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology Leipzig) in the zoo of
- Leipzig. Until now there have not been any signs of wear and tear. Therefore we can
assume a long period of usage. Because of a high-grade steel combination we have been successful to force an exceptional resistant and strong made PP-robe on one level. In that way the robe is not weakened and keeps its complete durability. This combination is very sturdy and it looks appealing as well. Because there are no more junctions and no possibilities to open the robe, the danger of injury (danger of strangulation) to the animals is minimized. Not unimportant is the high comfort of the nets which is why they are accepted a lot better by the apes than others. Because of the special way of production it has been possible for any apes to destroy those nets and robes. They have tested with gorillas, orang-outangs, chimpanzees and bonobos. The special way of forcing the robes together facilitates the production of nets in various forms and sizes. Partial repairs are possible, too. There are nets of Ø 24 mm und 36 mm. experience has shown that nets with 24 mm have a sufficient durability, so it is only necessary to use a 36 mm net in extreme cases. The most common types are shown in the following. Material: Please ask for the up-to-date prizes before ordering. The prize depends on the amount of hawsers taken.
