Carol Munt - Patient Partner & Advocate. Until her recent move to Kent, Carol was Co-chair of NHS Thames Valley Patient Experience Strategy Group, a member of NHS Thames Valley Oversight Board, and a member of Oxford Academic Health Science Network Clinical Innovation and Adoption team. Carol was part of the team for the Leading Together programme in Oxford and co-presented it at Expo 2016. She worked closely with Health Education Thames Valley on the e-version of the ‘Dementia Handbook for Carers and Care Providers.’ She introduced the ‘Carer’s Passport’ to a number of hospital trusts and continues to speak up about support for carers. The Royal Berkshire Hospital have now put carers as one of their top 3 priorities for 2017 -2020 She is an Honorary Lecturer & Doubleday Affiliate Manchester Medical School Passionate about Patient & Public Involvement, she is one of HSJ’s Top 50 Patient Leaders and a confident public speaker.
