  3. Accelerated Cure Project (ACP) National repository for demyelinating diseases founded in 2001. Nine enrollment sites around the nation NMO Repository along with Martha Mann, the traveling research nurse, funded by the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation Enrollment entails completion of a questionnaire and blood donation.

  4. UT Southwestern Biorepository Accumulate different types of samples from patients diagnosed with demyelinating diseases. Samples collected include blood, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), samples obtained from plasmapheresis and leukopheresis, and biopsy tissue. Work in conjunction with researchers at UT Southwestern to obtain samples for specific research projects.

  5. Longitudinal Study of NMO and TM Recruiting Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), NMO Spectrum Disorder, Transverse Myelitis and Optic Neuritis patients, along with healthy control. Enrollment involves scheduled study visits to collect data over time. Study duration is three years. Subjects are able to participate in research only procedures, but not required to in order to be enrolled in this study. Research only procedures include routine blood draws, lumbar puncture and leukopheresis.
