THANK YOU!)  Challenge goal $6.1M – 100%  Pledged amount - $6.1M  Received amount - $5.9M (estimate through Dec.)  80 parishes surpassed their goal  63 parishes surpassed their challenge goal  YOY Comparisons  3% increase - pledged  8% increase – paid  5% increase – average gift amount  5% decrease- participation rate (trend today – less people are giving more)

IN-PEW PLEDGE CARD  English on one side, Spanish on the other  Matte finish – easier to write on  Split into 3 sections (keep sections 1 & 2 and detach 3) Section 1 – “Love Abides” theme  Section 2 – “Love Abides” Prayer and call to action to grow in holiness,  prayer and faith Section 3 – In-Pew pledge card that is detached and put in the envelope 

  12. SEMINARIAN PRAYER CARD  Will be included in the first mailing with the letter from Bishop – bilingual  Gives 140,000 parishioners the opportunity to pray for our seminarians

  13. RETURN OF “TEXT TO GIVE”  Text to Give – text dollar amount to (512) 829-3826 Our culture has changed – people want an easier way to give  Traditional ways of giving can be a hassle. Allows donors to give  immediately without filling out a form The text# is on the Case Support Brochure, Bulletin Insert & In-Pew  Pledge card Donors can make a one-time or recurring gift  They receive an immediate thank you for the gift 

LETTERS  Bishop Letter – Pastors to read letter at Masses on October 20 – 21  Wave One January Parishes – read letter at Masses January 19 - 20 Bilingual  Included in your packet  Posted on the website   Pastor Follow- up “Ask” Letter (December)  Pastor Follow- up “Ask” Letter Wave One January Parishes (March) Last year was the first year we launched this approach for CSA  Utilized in the Capital Campaign  94% of the parishes that participated exceeded their goal  Not mandatory  NEED  Parish stationary  Pastor’s signature  May have on file from last year or capital campaign  You Pastor will be informed regarding the process 

  15. PARISH INCENTIVE PROGRAM  Launch date – Began with CSA 16 - 17  Ends with parish & donor reception with the Bishops on October 13 at St. William in Round Rock  Measurements for 18 - 19 Achieve CSA 18 – 19 goal  Achieve CSA 18 - 19 challenge goal  Deanery achieves goal  YOY increase in the number of gifts  A priest from the parish attends a CSA training or the “Priest Luncheon”  on October 25 Show the CSA video at the parish   How the program works: A parish receives one ticket for achieving any of the above measurements  All tickets will be gathered at the reception  The Bishop picks the winning tickets  One parish will be granted 10,000 for their parish operations  To qualify, the parish earned all six tickets  Eight parishes will be granted $5,000 for their parish operations  Parish must be present to win  Parishes will receive recognition for achieving their goals 
