The CRN has two processes for identifying any potential challenges associated with delivery of a study utilising input from both national and local CRN staff:

Portfolio Mandatory for all commercial research which has not used site identification Mandatory for non- commercial studies eligible for CRN support planning to open in more than one NHS organisation Aims to identify specific challenges to study delivery, including set-up in NHS Informs future support requirements, enabling a more proactive approach to set-up and delivery Feedback from local CRNs results in Study Delivery Rating Commercial studies automatically assigned an enhanced study delivery rating
