Creative Writing: For this project I would like to compare myself to a pilot of a giant robot. Mazinger Z is a long-running series of manga and anime featuring giant robots or mecha and where my inspiration for this project came from. My favorite hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco recently came out with a song called “Mazinger” and in the song he compares his talents as a lyricist/rapper to the robot. He can either use his powers for good or evil saying “I can become a god or the devil”. In my video I will design a robot of my own and animate it being built starting from one little square piece. It will start with the robots feet and slowly pan to the head. In the intro for the show the pilot flies a helicopter looking machine into the head of the giant robot in order to control it. I think that would be a cool way to end the video either me designed as an anime cartoon or actual footage of me sitting at a computer trying to figure out what to do for another project.
