The purpose of National Junior Honor Society:

 To create enthusiasm for scholarship  To stimulate a desire to render service  To promote leadership  To develop character  To encourage citizenship 

Students in 7th and 8th grade are eligible for membership:

Scholarship criteria: Semester grade of 95 in all classes except in EXPO,

enhanced/pre-ap classes, advanced math, or a high school credit courses in which a 90 is acceptable.

Students who qualify & are interested must apply & be evaluated

NJHS, members are required to:

  • maintain the same level of performance
  • regular attendance at chapter meetings,
  • participation in the chapter service project
  • perform an individual service project
  • pay dues.
