  • Any Texas city may apply to the program for an

the form of a detailed scoresheet.

Ordin inance 440 – Utili ility Billin illing Fees and Process

Invoices are mailed the last week of the month and are due by the 15th.

  • Delinquent Accounts
  • Delinquent Fees are assessed on the morning of 16th
  • Shut-off notices are emailed/door posted
  • Terminations
  • Service Fees are assessed on the morning of the 21st (Fee name change & removed increasing fine)
  • Shut-Off Service Orders are issued to the Public Works Staff
  • Restoration (Account must be paid in full)
  • During normal business hours: A work order will be issued and processed prior to end of day.
  • Holidays and weekends Request: (After hours fee removed and service times changed)
  • Received prior 10:00am, staff will confirm online payment and restore services do the daily sample collection.
  • Received after the daily sample collection process is complete, the water will be restored the following day.
  • Un-restored accounts:
  • If the service is not restored within 2 days the account will be closed.
  • The deposit will be applied to the outstanding balance and a final invoice will be mailed.
  • The City Administrator will initiate an investigation into the health and sanitation at the address.

Authorizes the Building Official to suspend or revoke a permit and penalty for failing to comply with the Construction Site Standards:

  • Protection of Adjoining Property
  • Storage and Placement of Tool, Equipment, Materials and Sanitary Facilities
  • Temporary Use of Streets, Alleys and Public Property
  • Traffic Laws

Added “Suspension or Revocation of Issued Permits” to the existing Ordinance for: 1. Failing to build as approved 2. Violation of Construction Site Standards 3. The issuance of 3 Stop Work Orders Added Fee for renewal of revoked permits – 50% of original permit fee.
