• You will be given a full 2 year cycle to

complete the CEU requirements.

• So when you renew as of July 1, 2013,

you will need 12 CEU credits.

If your license renewed before June 30, 2011 You are lucky: You will need to comply with the CEU credits by your 2015 renewal.

You will need to submit proof of all CEU courses completed. This information must be sent in with your renewal application.

What happens if you go to renew and you don’t have the necessary CEU credits?

• The BBRS will not renew your

license.

• You will need to retake the test to

get a new license.

As a Course Coordinator, we get to determine the course curriculum (subject to BBRS approval) and the Instructor. We would like to hire local instructors to develop and teach courses.

Let us know if you are interested in being an Instructor. An Instructor must have: A 4 year degree in any subject plus 2 years experience in the subject matter. Or A 4 year degree in the subject matter. Or Be a current CSL or Certified Building Official with 3 years experience in the subject matter. Or 5 years practical experience in the subject matter.

Instructors will earn one CEU credit for every hour of preparation, which may not exceed three credits. Suggested Courses ???
