Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP)

Internationally significant centre for knowledge based employment. Offers £5.4m of local investment from Loughborough University, Leicestershire County Council and Charnwood Borough Council Local procurement to deliver significant construction jobs and apprenticeship opportunities Asks Capital investment of £2m towards the LUSEP programme On-going cross departmental Government support for future phases of LUSEP Outcomes 4,000 additional jobs and private investment of up to £200M when fully completed Initial 3,000 sq m of employment space creating 150 new jobs in 2 years, 750 new jobs by 2020 and 2000 new jobs by 2025 In just five years additional GVA of more than £58M (based on a recent independent report on the economic impact of the University and LUSEP)
