The Vision

Village 13 will be the physical expression of Breaking the Ice core mission. Breaking the Ice is a non for profit charitable organization based in Germany. It’s Mission is to spread the message of love, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence in our planet. We envision a place which will become an inspirational beacon for people to share and create. Village 13 is an ecological centre based on non-profit sharing principles, it will use renewable sources of energy and will serve as a symbiosis between men and nature.

Realization

Village 13 will be built using private funds. Visitors will have the privilege of making financial support gestures to help maintain the village. The village will accommodate for up to 30 people. Village 13 invites guests and visitors with no discrimination of color, creed, nationality, age or religion. The number “13” represents the values of love and unity.

Contxt Studio is an Architecture and Interior Design practice based in Tel Aviv and Miami. Founded by Leonardo Harf and Juliana Vergara, with over 30 years of architectural experience in a vast variety of project types including residential, commercial, retail, interiors, corporate, and transportation facilities, for both public and private clients. We believe that every project must be considered within the context of its expanding environment. This environment becomes as important as the project itself since the project breathes into its surroundings. Our Design approach stems from our experience on projects that demand innovative design with outmost attention on details, materials and environmental concerns.
