NECB

  • As this is a “new” Construction Code for

the Province of Manitoba we will be following a similar process for adoption as the NBC, however it will be more detailed as it will be the first time we have adopted a full Energy Code.

  • Any amendments to the NECB will be

located in this new Regulation.

Code is Published by NRC Subcommittee sends recommendations to BSB BSB reviews and approves Sent to Minister for approval Full Public Consultation Pre- Consultation Process Subcommittee is convened BSB Creates a Subcommittee Comments reviewed by Subcommittee Recommendations and Comments incorporated into Regulation Regulation passed with a lagged enforcement date
