Location: Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest in beautiful woodland with views of Moel Famau. Outdoor highlights: Activities integrated into the stunning woodland, including a high ropes course woven amongst the trees, and an exceptionally realistic caving system built into a natural rock seam. Indoor highlights: Spacious sports hall for team games, fencing and recreational activities. 438 in standard rooms (sleeping 4–16 in each room) 133 in Adventure lodges (sleeping 11–19 in each lodge)

You’ll find welcoming rooms in our comfortable dormitory style accommodation. You will sleep in a choice of standard accommodation, or Adventure Lodges, all of which have bathroom facilities and a daily housekeeping check. All of
- ur accommodation is secure and comfortable and all
bedding is provided. Pupils sleep in gender separated areas, with separate showers and toilet facilities, and teacher rooms are located close by to allow for plenty of supervision.
Departure
- Children should arrive at school on Tuesday at
normal school time for registration purposes.
- They will be taken to class to chat through some
last minute details. If you wish to wave off your child, we will be leaving at 12:45pm. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate parents during this time.
- Children will need a PACKED LUNCH for this day.
- We will return on Friday 10th May should be
between 2:30 and 3:00pm, traffic dependent. We are aiming to leave Colomendy at 1:00pm.

Kit list…
- No sleeping bag required – all bedding provided.
- Bags need to be carried by the children.
- NO SWEETS OR FOOD.
- Camera – disposable only IF YOU WISH. This is NOT essential –
plenty of pictures on the letter.
- NO ELECTRONICS AT ALL
- £10 spending money in change – please bring this in an envelope
and have it clearly named.
- PLEASE NAME EVERYTHING!
- Water activity – children will need additional towel and bag for
wet clothes.
- Please check the full kit list and keep an eye on the weather. The
weather is unpredictable at this time of year. Ideally, the children should also have a coat for wet conditions.
- Medical form required
- NHS NUMBER IMPERATIVE
- ALL medication needs to be
given in to staff over the days before the trip unless required on the day.
- ALL children need to return
this form even if no medical issues.
- Medication should start to
come in next week (where possible) – please speak to staff separately if concerned.
