persons in Collier County are sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation or they were living in temporary shelter.

  • During a ten month period in 2015, 21 senior women

contacted Jewish Family & Community Services of Southwest Florida because they were homeless or about to be evicted.

  • The waiting list for affordable senior housing is often three

to five years.
