Major Causes of Climate Change The major causes of climate change are pollution, use of fossil fuels, intensive beeding of the cattle and exploitation of tropical forests. These human activities exercise an increasing influence on the climate and the temperature of the Earth, it releases enormous quantities of greenhouse gases, which come to be added to those naturally present in the atmosphere and warm the temperature of the planet. Effects of Climate Change The modification or the disappearance of the ecosystems threaten a lot of species. We can quote the polar bear as an example. Natural disasters bound to the climate, as floods, hurricanes, droughts, forest fires..., risk to become intensified, weakening even more the population who have to face it. Currently inhabited areas could become uninhabitable because of the desertification and the inhabitants could be hunted of their country by the rise of the sea level. The increase of the sea level also threatens islands of the Pacific. For all these reasons, population will have no other choice than to take the way of the exile, having no more place to lived that will create an overpopulation of countries. CLIMATE CHANGE - 3

Alternative Energy Sources In our opinion, one of the big hopes of the fight against the greenhouse gases STOP POLLUTE THE PLANET is the development of the renewable WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF IT energies. Solar panels, wind turbines as THAT'S OUR PLANET !!! well as water mills are ways of creation of electricity which use renewable energies. But the people will obviously have to stop polluting the Earth and begin to take care of it because it is our planet. CLIMATE CHANGE - 4
