NI 185 Percentage C02 reduction from LA Operations

Aim – to measure the progress of LA’s in reducing C02 emissions from analysis of energy and fuel use in their relevant buildings and transport This includes:

  • All Council offices, including contact centres
  • Contractors who undertake work on our behalf

NI 186 – Per capita CO2 emissions in the LA area

This indicator relies on centrally produced statistics (DEFRA) to measure end user CO2 emissions in the local area from:

  • Business and Public Sector
  • Domestic housing
  • Road transport

Breckland’s Target – 3.4% reduction

  • Needs a joined up approach via Norfolk Climate Change Group
  • ALL your actions count towards reducing CO2 for this NI
  • Measurability for this indicator is a list of actions from all partners (events/projects)
