  • Selected 4 Concessions to represent the different

food service establishments (FSE) at the airport

  • Goal: Create a collection program model for each

FSE type before expanding to all terminals

  • Pilot: Collection started on Earth Day 4/22/17

(CFRP) staff collect food waste from FSEs, Monday-Friday

  • Food waste is transported to CLARTS

(transfer station)

  • From CLARTS, the food waste is sent to

an anaerobic digestion facility (CR&R) for processing into renewable natural gas
