PARACHUTING Parachuting Parachuting = core military sport & mission essential skill usually 30-40 nations at WMPC – 50% with female participants – Between 1 junior competitor and full male/ female team (5+5+2) 40 WMPCs were held since 1964 – participation from 50+ different nations Good Co-operation with IF (FAI) but: – independent CISM Parachuting Regulations – independent CISM Judges licenses
CISM parachuting disciplines 3 classical parachuting disciplines – Accuracy Landing (PRECISION) – Freefall Style (SPEED) – Formation Skydiving (TEAMWORK) + combination with other (military) skills accuracy, shooting, orienteering = Para Cross accuracy, giant slalom = Para-Ski

Para-Ski Para-Ski – April 2018 WMC in Hochfilzen/ Austria What is Para-Ski?
Para-Ski History: – alpine rescue missions (before enough helicopter availibility) – Civilian competitions since 1960‘s – FAI World Championships every 2 years Competition – Team of 4, individual and team classification – Accuracy landing on 30 ° slope (6 jumps+final) – Giant slalom (FIS/ CISM rules) (2 runs) – 1sec = 3cm, lowest total points win

July 2017 – 38 nations with Preliminary Agreement (late entries asap -> GER CoM) – Final Entry due 1st of June – „ no judge- no team “ applies 1st CISM indoor/outdoor FS 4way Tournament SION/ SUI 16.-20. Sep 2017 (on invitation, contact SUI CoM)
