Ciclo Med is the result of the union of two prestigious companies, Rochamed and Fotobras, Division of Medical Devices, known for their services to the medical and hospital market, the distribution of radiological films, medical equipment, angioplasty catheters, etc. Murilo Rocha, the present CEO, was director of both companies and led the sales area for 24 years. His accumulated and varied experience in specialized areas with the proven capacity of being able to install an entire brand-new hospital within a few days period, encompassing, from the Surgical Center, laundry, kitchen, sterilization, etc. to the more sophisticated departments such as CCU, Image Center and Emergency Room, have only one supplier and

Murilo Rocha then became General Manager for Brazil for GUIDANT, the North American corporation specifically dedicated to sales of Vascular Intervention products, such as balloon catheters, stents, and others as well as Cardio-Rhythm Management (CRM), that is, Pacemakers, Implantable Defibrillators and VHF. Ciclo Med presently has 6 technical salesmen in the State of São Paulo while in other areas such as the Northeast, there are 30 agents, sub-dealers or representatives with a grand total of approximately 100 around Brazil. The administrative office is located in São Paulo as well as the customer service and management, 3 directors and managers of sales and administration, marketing and specialized nurses who provide technical assistance and training. Equipment maintenance is effected by skilled technicians and laboratory facilities.
