Project Highlights • 124 people helped with this sampling project • Participants included a diverse mix from the Fairbanks community including: • Homeschool families • Local landowners • Military families • UAF Upward Bound • UAF Watershed Management Class • We caught 1,511 fish in minnow traps, 849 of which were Chinook salmon • We talked to over 2,000 people about salmon and the Chena River at our outreach events

What happens next? • Submitting article to FWS webpage for region • Working on “data series” so others can use data • Applying for Yukon River Panel Research & Management Grant to continue the project next year but won’t know if awarded until March
