  5. Efficient plumbing features On demand circulation Energy Star Appliances High efficiency hot water heating

  6. Clean air Low VOC paints, caulks and adhesives Shoe removal area Carbon monoxide detector

  7. Irrigation/Landscaping Drought tolerant plants Drip Irrigation Gutters No plants within 24 inches of house

  8. Neighborhood Stabilization Program Homes  NSP designed to assist states, counties and cities in addressing abandoned and foreclosed properties- Chandler’s Partner is Newtown  Can assist families up to 120% of Annual Median Income or in Chandler $77,050 annually  NSP funds also available to rehabilitate properties to appropriate standards and improve energy efficiency

  9. Neighborhood Stabilization Program Homes In addition to HOME Program Standards, homes will undergo “Green Rehab” including:  Energy efficient roofing materials with reflective material  Energy Star appliances  R-Value Insulation  Tests/rehab to insure home is properly sealed
