  2. Nov 30: NEFC Park Design Creekside Park Chair Kirby-Yung announced the hiring of the acclaimed New York based firm, James Corner Field Operations, to design the Creekside Park Extension in Northeast False Creek

  3. Dec 1: Hockey Canada World Juniors Announcement Rogers Arena Vancouver and Victoria have been selected to host the 2019 IIHF World Juniors Hockey Tournament. Commissioners with Megan Acosta, Trevor Linden, Councillor Louie and Donnie Rosa.

  4. Dec 1: Festival of Lights Opening Event VanDusen Botanical Garden Commissioners attended the annual Festival of Lights opening at VanDusen Botanical Garden. With Make a Wish Foundation Director of Communications, Stuart Chase.

  5. Dec 1: Odd Squad Fundraiser The Imperial Theatre Chair Kirby-Yung attended an annual fundraiser for Odd Squad to support prevention outreach and programs for youth against drugs and gangs. With Executive Director, Tony Hinton and President Diana Zappa.
