COMPANY AND TEAM INFO

SOLID is a Broward County based firm, we have been in business since 2014. We are a Broward County CBE / SBE firm. SOLID is also a Certified FDOT Small business firm qualified in Categories 10.1 Roadway Construction Engineering Inspection and 10.3 Construction Materials Inspection. We currently have staff working in all of the Tri-county area within South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade) in three different FDOT Districts: 4, 6 and Turnpike. We have added F&J Engineering Group Inc. as a sub- consultant to our team to fulfill the DBE requirement set by the Federal Transit Administration due to Federal Funds

STAFF EXPERIENCE

OSVALDO “OSSIE” LARRAZABAL, PE, Principal-In-Charge/

  • QA. BSCE, Licensed PE. Over 16 years of experience in

several CEI projects for FDOT and multiple municipalities. His specific experience includes bus pads new construction and improvements, ADA Ramps and sidewalks, milling & resurfacing, full pavement reconstruction, new bridge construction, and existing bridge rehabilitation, drainage, lighting, signals, signing, and landscaping activities. GERARD FLEURGIN, CEI Senior Roadway Inspector

  • BSCE. Over 21 years of experience in CEI roadway and bridge
  • projects. Gerard has worked with multiple agencies FDOT,

NCDOT, ADOT and ODOT. Mr. Fleurgin has extensive material testing and sampling experience as well as quantities tracking and plans as-builts. He is very well versed in MOT inspection, earthwork, asphalt and concrete inspection as well as erosion control and signing activities. Gerard has worked on projects involving Bus Pads improvements or new construction.

STAFF EXPERIENCE

MICHAEL DAVIS, CEI Roadway Inspector Mike has a high school degree and partial community college

  • education. Over 12 years of CEI experience working in roadway

and bridge projects. His experience includes inspection of projects with bus pads. Mr. Davis has been a QC manager and has vast material testing and sample as well as materials logging experience. He has extensive communication and computer skills and is detailed oriented. Areas of responsibilities include inspection of construction, MOT reviews, project coordination with contractor’s field personnel, and project field book and source document preparation. COREY KAZAKS, CEI Roadway Inspector 9 years of experience in road and bridge projects servicing various FDOT roadway projects in Districts 4 and 6 as a CEI roadway inspector, quality coordinator, and construction services manager. Mr. Kazaks has a strong inspection background with extensive experience in quality management of asphalt, soils, concrete materials, drilled shafts, and final estimates, especially as related to FDOT compliance.
