PNP Occupations in Demand Pilot New 3-year Pilot: • Targets high labour market demand- intermediate skilled (NOC C) • First occupations will be Continuing Care Assistants and Truck Drivers • FT permanent job offer (30 hours/week) • Minimum 1-year of related work experience Does not require the preexisting work relationship • Canadian high school equivalent • Language CLB4 (test) • TR – PR model 2-year work permit 18-20-month PR processing

PNP Labour Market Priorities • Leverages the pool of skilled candidates in the Federal Express Entry System • Targets high labour market demands through Provincial draws • No job offer required but experience in a skilled occupation. • Past draws for ECEs, Accountants, Francophones • October 28 th draw for Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (NOC 3012) • Invitation to apply to the PNP – LNP stream • With Provincial approval – additional points in EE and Federal invitation to apply for PR • 6-month PR processing time

  24. English in the Workplace (EWP) EWP is a free 12-week training program for immigrant employees, to help them with on-the-job language skills. It is delivered in your workplace by a • qualified EAL instructor. • Training can be done in-person or by distance. • There are two 90 minute sessions per week. Distance training is delivered live over the internet, using a web camera and software for shared audio-visuals. DIVERSIFY YOUR WORKFORCE
