scientific assessment of regional exporting firms (manufacturers and service providers)

• Provides a standardized, methodological assessment for

diagnosing and identifying areas of support to be delivered though Caribbean Export and key partners.

• Diagnoses and identifies the strengths and weaknesses of

SMEs across 4 main pillars

• The tool enables Caribbean Export/Regional BSOs to

better assist firms in addressing main areas of weakness

• Provide more focused and targeted technical

assistance, training, and access to finance solutions .

• The tool allows for cross-comparison among firms in

different countries as each firm is measured using the same methodology.

• It would allow regional BSOs to track the progress of

the firms over time.

• For export promotion activities it would allow firms to

be matched with the “correct” market profiles.
