Chairman: Maj-General S Dutta VSM (retd) General Dutta is a qualifjed engineer and a successful corporate leader. His distinguished service in the army included special assignments with the US and Soviet armies. He has since been at the forefront of management development in industry, and was a member of the council for All India Management Association. He was a director of IPCL, India’s largest petrochemical company, then a senior vice president

  • f Reliance Industries Limited, and latterly senior vice president
  • f Reliance ADAG where he was responsible for all its

construction activities. General Dutta is a passionate yachtsman, and was responsible for introducing many classes of sailing dinghy to India. He was a council member of the Yachting Association of India. Managing Director: Gautama Dutta Dutta is a former Olympic yachtsman and he commissioned and ran India’s Olympic Sailing Centre at Bombay. As well as being a round-the-world yachtsman, he holds the high altitude sailing record for his exploits on Lake Deotal at 5480m.

The Management Team

Dutta is a director of Marine Solutions, one of India’s leading yachting companies which, amongst other things, holds the dealerships for Ferretti, Pershing, Jeanneau, Sea Ray, and

  • Mercury. He is a co-founder of the India Marine Federation,

and is hugely knowledgeable about Indian boating matters in general. Technical Director: Simon J Arrol CEng FICE Arrol spent 15 years in the dredging industry, much of the time with the world’s largest dredging company, Royal Bos Kalis Westminster Dredging NV. He was then managing director

  • f Camper & Nicholsons Marinas Ltd for 16 years, responsible

for a portfolio of 6 UK marinas and for consultancy and management assignments on 4 continents. He later spent 2 years in charge of development and operations at Island Global Yachting Dubai LLC. He has undertaken marina projects in 38 countries.
