Canyon Rim Academy Title I Targeted Assistance • The purpose of Title I is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable and high quality education and to close educational achievement gaps. Tile I is a federally funded program under the Elementary Secondary Education Act (ESEA).

Title I Goals • Help students achieve proficiency and growth on rigorous academic standards • Close achievement gaps • Build teacher capacity through high quality ongoing professional learning opportunities • Support parents in helping their children succeed through meaningful. High quality parent, family and community engagement activities

CRA Goals • We want to decrease the number of students scoring at the Intensive and Strategic levels of the ACADIENCE assessment by 5 percent from the beginning of year test to the middle and end of year test.

CRA Spending of Title I Money • Title I funds are used 100% for our highly qualified paraprofessionals to work with students who struggle in reading

Accountability • Time and Effort Forms for employees paid with Title I money • Frequent monitoring of students being served by Title I • Meeting the CRA Title I goals
