Walk With A Doc is a free, year-round walking program that operates in communities across America and abroad. It is hosted by local physicians in public spaces, and everyone is welcome. Our mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages, and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle, which will improve the health and well-being of the country.

Beyond the basics, each community defines its

  • wn walk – whether they meet once a week or
  • nce a month, in the mountains or on a beach,

in the city, at a park or in a mall. Each program starts with the volunteer doc introducing a popular health topic for a short

  • discussion. Conversation migrates into the

walk, all the way back to the meeting point, where walkers can have their blood pressure checked, get water, fresh fruit, healthy snacks
