HYPT → IYPT • Call to participate: - In KÖMAL ( Mathematical and Physical Journal for Secondary School) in September for every Hungarian students • 1st round: Scientific essay - approx. end november - 8-10 pages of scientific study of a choosen problem in Hungarian - approx. 40 students – lack of experience? - work alone and with the physics teacher of the school 11

HYPT → IYPT • 2nd round: Hungarian Young Physicists´s Tournament - in middle of december at the ELTE University - 15 best students of the 1st round (lack of capacity) - Jury: professors of the ELTE University - presentations of own researches of the participiants - opposition of an old IYPT presentation - selection of 8 students for further preparation 13

HYPT → IYPT • 3rd round: Selection of the 5 team members for IYPT - The students work in pairs after the 2nd round under the supervision of Peter Ispanovity and Peter Jenei - They present their partner‘s problem - IYPT team member selection: Mid-March - AYPT and other international tournaments for non- team-members 15
